HomeButtons makes it quick & easy to toggle all of your HomeKit accessories & scenes.
Whilst the built-in Home app provides this functionality, HomeButtons was designed to make it much quicker to quickly activate a scene or toggle an accessory’s state. It is fully configurable so you only see your most used accessories & scenes.
HomeButtons contains these great features:
ACCESSORIES
Add the accessories you use most to enable you to quickly toggle lights on & off, shutters opened & closed and more. As long as the accessory has a toggle-type mechanism, it is supported by HomeButtons. Accessories you add are split by room and sorted alphabetically so they are easy to find.
SCENES
Set the scene with your most frequently used scenes. No more trying to guess where in the grid you can find your scene, the scenes you add are all sorted alphabetically.
WIDGETS
Control your accessories & scenes from the Home Screen, Lock Screen or Control Center with support for widgets. Widgets are interactive and support the same quick selection methods as the main app to control your home.
APPLE WATCH
The HomeButtons app for Apple Watch makes it super quick & easy to control your accessories and set the scene from your wrist. It’s quick to update and is fully configurable too.
CARPLAY
Open doors, turn on lights or set a scene when arriving home with the HomeButtons for CarPlay app. Set accessories & scenes in Settings > CarPlay on your iPhone.
ICLOUD SYNC
Added accessories & scenes sync over iCloud so you can access them from your other Apple devices.

Please note that devices should have already been setup in the Apple Home app to use this app. Not all accessories support a toggle mechanism and will therefore not appear in HomeButtons app. Some features may require a HomeButtons+ subscription which can be purchased in the app. You can cancel at anytime.

About HomeButtons for HomeKit

- HomeButtons has been fully redesigned with the ability to control scenes & accessories from within the main app on iPhone, iPad and Mac. HomeButtons makes it quick & easy to toggle accessory states or activate scenes.
- Widgets have been completely redesigned and now offer the ability to choose multiple accessories/scenes on a single widget. They are also now fully interactive so controls can be used without the need for the app to open. A selection of Lock Screen widgets are also available too.
- The Apple Watch app has been redesigned to make it quicker to select accessories & scenes.
- Chosen accessories & scenes now sync over iCloud so you'll see the same list across all of your iCloud connected devices.
- HomeButtons is now a free app with in-app purchases to get access to additional features. Existing users will still get access to all of the original features they have paid for plus iCloud syncing and the new design. There is a limited-time discount on the lifetime plan that existing users can take advantage of if they would like to get access to new & future features. Please reach out if you are having issues accessing existing features.
